I’m Jason Hartley, a husband, a dad, a retired firefighter, a Realtor, a entrepreneur, a Christian and someone who believes it’s never too late to make a change.

I spent a total of 16 years in the fire service. It was “The Best Job I Have Ever Had” and I will still say that.. There were sacrifices with the job though. You work 24 hour shifts and have 48 hours off. There are a lot of missed holidays, birthday, sports games and other important events.

I got my real estate license in 2014 and was doing it part time as a side job. In 2017 I went ahead and got my Broker’s license and in 2018 I started “The Hartley Group”. In 2019 we lost our oldest son Dylan suddenly. Once that happened it changed the way we viewed a lot of things. Our youngest son Gavin was almost 6 at the time and I made the decision I did not want to be gone every 3rd day anymore. That is when I made the leap into real estate full time. That decision taught me something I’ve carried with me ever since: You can always make a change even if the path forward isn’t easy or obvious.

With a lot of prayer and help I was able to make the transition and grow the business. With a new found appreciation for each and every minute you get to spend with your loved ones I wanted to work on systems to not waste anytime working when I could spend it with my family. I wanted to work towards paying off debt. Getting money in the bank and investing. Finding ways to get passive income to help buy time back and enjoy the things I want to enjoy.

Today, I’m working to build a life centered around Faith. Family. Freedom. Purpose. That means continuing to grow my real estate business, creating better systems, exploring new opportunities, and becoming more intentional about how I use my time.

This website is where I share that journey. It includes the lessons I’ve learned through real estate, business, personal growth, faith and life, along with the tools and resources that are helping me move forward. I don’t have everything figured out, but I believe there is value in sharing the honest process of building a meaningful life.

My hope is that what I share will encourage you to take your own next step, whether that means growing your business, improving your finances, finding greater purpose, or creating more freedom to spend your time with the people and things that matter most.
